When “College GameDay” travels to Columbus to cover an Ohio State game, it’s usually a safe bet to say Lee Corso will pick the Buckeyes to win. That wasn’t the case this Saturday though.
On Saturday morning, Corso shocked the college football world by picking Indiana to upset Ohio State. ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit couldn’t believe the selection, especially since Corso refers to Brutus as his first love.
At the end of the day though, Corso wanted to ride with his former team.
“I haven’t had the nerve to pick against my first love in Ohio State in years,” Corso said. “But not so fast, my friend. Indiana upsets Ohio State.”
Immediately after Corso put the Indiana helmet on his head, Ohio State fans showered him with boos. It was a pretty hostile environment for the former head coach of the Hoosiers.

Desmond Howard also picked Indiana to defeat Ohio State. To be fair, he’s a Michigan man. You know he’s rooting against the Buckeyes this weekend.
Former Alabama coach Nick Saban, meanwhile, picked Ohio State to take down Indiana.
Even though Indiana entered this afternoon with a 10-0 record, oddsmakers had the Hoosiers as double-digit underdogs. That’s a testament to the talent of the Buckeyes and their ability to overwhelm opponents at home.
We’ll see if Indiana can shock Ohio State on the road and make Corso look like a genius.
This Saturday’s clash between No. 5 Indiana and No. 2 Ohio State is being televised on FOX. Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt are on the call.
