It’s no secret that the 2024 Ohio State football team is stacked at almost every position.
Ohio State has one of the best rosters in the country and its one of the main reasons why college football pundits have the program winning this year’s national title.
Part of the reason why the roster is so stacked is because of NIL money but Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule doesn’t think it’s the only reason. He chalks a lot of it up to how OSU is one of the premier programs in the country that players want to play for.
“I want to first give credit to Ryan Day, okay, in that those guys are at Ohio State because Ohio State wins and people, players want to go to a winner, okay,” Rhule said, via On3. “I mean, so, while there is, you know, an NIL component to everybody? Ryan has won, right. Urban won, Jim Tressel won. You know, Ohio State has won a ton so kids want to go be a part of one of the best programs in the country.”
The Buckeyes are off to a 5-1 start and are coming off a loss against the Oregon Ducks 12 days ago. They’re looking to get back on track against a resurgent Cornhuskers team that lost to the Indiana Hoosiers last Saturday.
The Buckeyes have won the last seven matchups in this series and will try to make it eight at Noon ET on Saturday.
