An Ohio State Buckeyes fan had the college football world falling in love on Saturday.
Ohio State took on Marshall at The Horseshoe in Columbus on Saturday. The Buckeyes topped the Thundering Herd, 49-14, to improve to 3-0 on the year. Ohio State’s faced an easy schedule so far, but things will get tougher soon. Ryan Day’s team is set to travel to Michigan State on Saturday evening. Games against Nebraska, Penn State, Oregon and Michigan await the Buckeyes later in the year. But so far, it’s been a very smooth start to the season for Will Howard, Jeremiah Smith and the rest of the Buckeyes team. One particular Buckeyes fan has been loving it, too.
An Ohio State Buckeyes fan named Lindz has been trending on social media for her appearance.
Lindz, an Ohio State Buckeyes fan with more than 25,000 followers on social media, posts a lot of college football-themed content to her profile. She very much enjoyed Saturday’s game against Marshall. A video of Lindz reacting to an Ohio State touchdown has nearly four million views.
“TD Buckeyes 🌰,” she wrote.
Lindz, one of the most-followed Ohio State fans on social media, is constantly updating her page with tweets and photos throughout games.
She was very active on Saturday.
Lindz isn’t afraid to speak out on social media, either. She made her opinion on Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders extremely clear.
“Alright I’m ready to make an opinion. The guy is an *ssh*le,” she wrote.
Lindz does occasionally sport non-Scarlet and Gray gear, too. Though, it seems to be pretty rare.
As Lindz enjoys the Buckeyes’ 3-0 start to the regular season, Ryan Day is confident in his team moving forward. He knows tougher tasks are ahead, though.
“So again, bigger challenges ahead, we’re heading into conference play, but the identity’s starting to build, and you know, that running game is starting to build an identity, and some confidence, I think, up front, which was needed,” he said.
Lindz, meanwhile, is looking forward to this year’s Michigan game. She’s been warning the Wolverines all year.
“83 days away COVID won’t save you. Stalions won’t save you. It’s coming,” she wrote.
Ohio State and Michigan are scheduled to meet in Columbus on Saturday, Nov. 30 at noon E.T. The regular season finale will be airing on FOX. Lindz will surely be in attendance for that one in Columbus.
