Ohio State and Oregon will square off in the Rose Bowl this Wednesday in what many fans believe is the most intriguing College Football Playoff game on the schedule.
Earlier this season, Oregon defeated Ohio State at home in a 32-31 thriller. Ducks quarterback Dillon Gabriel competed 23-of-34 pass attempts in that game for 341 yards with two touchdowns. Will Howard was just as productive for the Buckeyes, but he mismanaged the time late while trying to get his squad in field goal position. He’d love nothing more than to avenge that loss on New Year’s Day.
While there’s no guarantee Ohio State will prevail, it’s pretty clear the school’s cheerleaders are amped up for the Rose Bowl.
Roughly 24 hours before kickoff, the official Instagram page for Ohio State’s cheerleading team shared a group picture along with this caption: “The granddaddy of them all!”

It wouldn’t shock us at all to see a few members of Ohio State’s cheerleading squad steal the spotlight during Wednesday’s epic rematch.
Kickoff for the Rose Bowl is at 5 p.m. ET. Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will have the call for ESPN.
ESPN’s computer model gives the Buckeyes a 53.7 percent chance of taking down the Ducks.
