Former Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud had the chance to talk to a five-star OSU commit on Friday.
Stroud knew exactly who five-star recruit Devin Sanchez was when he was talking to him following a Houston Texans training camp practice.
“I know who you are,” Stroud said.
Sanchez is one of the top recruits in the country and is from Houston, Texas. He got to take in a Texans practice as they get ready for the season.
Sanchez is the top cornerback recruit in the country and the fifth-best recruit in the nation, per 247Sports composite rankings. He committed to the Buckeyes in January of this year.
Buckeyes fans loved seeing Stroud talk to Sanchez and make him feel part of the program.
“Gotta be an amazing feeling for these kids to introduce themselves to NFL players they look up to and the response is ‘I know who you are,'” one tweet read.
“Until further notice, CJ next up,” another tweet read.
“That sentence is worth a million words,” another tweet read.
The Buckeyes are all in for the 2024 season with most of their team coming back along with a lot of great additions via the transfer portal and their newest recruiting class.
