Ohio State didn’t have to look far to find its new head men’s basketball coach.
Instead of looking outside the program, the Buckeyes on Sunday announced that interim head coach Jake Diebler would become the program’s new head coach on a five-year deal. He replaces Chris Holtmann, who was fired last month and has since accepted the job at DePaul.
