Quarterback Brady Edmunds is so early in his high school career that many major recruiting outlets don’t even have a grade for him yet. But that hasn’t stopped some of the biggest programs in American from giving him a scholarship offer.
On Thursday, Edmunds revealed that the Ohio State Buckeyes have offered him a scholarship while he was on a visit to the campus with head coach Ryan Day. He is a part of the Class of 2027.
“After a great conversation with @ryandaytime I’m grateful to have received an offer from THEE Ohio State University!🌰#GoBucks,” Edmunds wrote on X.
According to Ohio State recruiting insider Jeremy Birmingham, Edmunds has actually camped the last two summers in Columbus, strongly indicating his passion for the program.
But with years to go before he can sign a letter of intent, Edmunds will likely receive even more offers than he already has. And those offers are plentiful.
He already has offers from powerhouses like Michigan, Texas, Auburn, Oregon, Washington and Florida State.
It definitely bodes well for the Buckeyes that this highly-touted quarterback already sees their program so fondly. But a lot can change between now and when he has to make his final college decision.
Will Brady Edmunds be a Buckeye?
