The younger sister of a legendary Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback has committed to play at Michigan.
Seriously.
Justin Fields’ younger sister, Jessica, announced on Sunday that she has committed to play for the Wolverines. Jessica Fields is a women’s basketball recruit.
“I am excited and blessed to announce my commitment to the University of Michigan!” she announced.
“I want to thank all the coaches who have put their time into recruiting me, my teammates who are always by my side, my coaches and trainers for crafting me into the player I am, and my family for being my support system through everything. Most importantly, I want to give the glory to God., Without Him, I am nothing and I am thankful for His continued blessings in my life.”

It’s rare for families to be split in the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry, but it’s happened before. Jessica Fields is the latest to play for a different school than her family member.
Perhaps the Fields family will stay loyal to the Buckeyes for football but now go with the Wolverines on the women’s basketball side.
Ohio State has lost three straight games to Michigan in the football rivalry.
