Ohio State head coach Ryan Day is still not over last season’s loss to Michigan in Ann Arbor.
The loss marked Ohio State’s third one in a row to its biggest rival but Day thinks OSU should’ve won that game. It was a close back-and-forth affair before Michigan won by six, 30-24.
“That was a very good team, but we still should’ve won the game. We didn’t, so why was that? What do we need to do? It starts with making sure the right people are in the right seats, making sure the personnel is right, making sure the scheme is right and you go from there. But yeah, those are the kinds of decisions you try to make in the offseason,” Day said, (first transcribed by 247Sports).
Both teams were 11-0 heading into the game and a spot in the Big Ten Championship Game, plus a likely spot in the College Football Playoff was on the line.
Michigan did just enough to squeak past Ohio State before winning the Big Ten and then the national title.
Ohio State will try and end this three-game losing streak when Michigan comes to Columbus on November 30. Kickoff will be at Noon ET.
