Social media starlet Madden San Miguel, also known as Baby Gronk, is a ways away from even starting high school, let alone college. But that hasn’t stopped him from announcing a commitment to play football at a national powerhouse.
On Friday, Baby Gronk announced his commitment to Ohio State.
“BABY GRONK HAS COMMITTED TO THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY,” they wrote.
However, it was quickly noted in the Community Notes on X that he has not been offered a scholarship to the university and therefore the announcement is not binding in any way. It was also noted that Baby Gronk has previously committed to a litany of other schools.

Just over a week ago, Baby Gronk announced a “Top 30” list of schools that featured about half of the schools in the Power conferences.
Many people are considering this to be yet another publicity stunt by Baby Gronk and his people since giving his “commitment” to a college has come once or twice every few months.
Bleacher Report even compiled a list of all of the various college football commitments that Baby Gronk has made in just the past 12 months. In July it was LSU, then Oklahoma. Then in December it was Texas A&M and later Missouri.
As it stands, Baby Gronk has only completed the fifth grade. He’s still a few years away from being properly scouted by colleges.
