The No. 9 Ohio State women’s basketball team was in rival territory Wednesday night, in Ann Arbor, Michigan against the No. 25 Michigan Wolverines. Ohio State came back from a 16-point second-quarter deficit to defeat the Wolverines 84-77.
Following the game, head coach Kevin McGuff, Chance Gray, and Jaloni Cambridge spoke with the media. McGuff talked about a poorly played first half for the Scarlet and Gray and what he said to his team at halftime. Plus, his thoughts on late plays from Taylor Thierry, Gray, and Cambridge.
Cambridge and Gray talk about how they now feel about The Rivalry after playing in their first edition of the heated matchup. Plus, McGuff has trust in the freshman starter to keep shooting despite a cold first half. Gray also discussed Sunday’s matchup against her former Oregon Ducks teammates.
