On Sunday, the Ohio State women’s basketball team finished off a week against top-5 Big Ten opponents with a trip to Lincoln, Nebraska. After struggling in the first half, the Buckeyes stormed back to defeat the Cornhuskers, 72-66, and after the game the Scarlet and Gray spoke with the media.
Head coach Kevin McGuff talked about the strong rebounding performance, a 23-point performance for senior guard/forward Taylor Thierry and a tough day for freshman guard Jaloni Cambridge.
Then, Thierry and forward Cotie McMahon discussed the play of guard Kennedy Cambridge and center Elsa Lemmilä down the stretch, how they weren’t happy with the first half and how improved rebounding will help the side as they prepare to California for two games against top-four teams in the country.
That and more on the latest “Uncut.”
