After a chaotic, comeback win over Maryland on Thursday night that saw the lead change hands three times in the final two minutes, Bruce Thornton, Micah Parrish, and Jake Diebler sat down to talk to the media and digest what they just saw.
Diebler said that the win doesn’t happen if the team was not connected, which he apoliguzed for being “cliche” but that he feels it is something that he noticed many months ago. He also said he felt that this is a team that was going to continue to get better as the year progressed.
Bruce Thornton was asked about his banked-in three-pointer that gave Ohio State the lead. He said he just “gave it to God and said a little prayer” when it was clearly coming in a little too hot to drop in the bucket normally.
Parrish said that he watched the film from the first Maryland game “two or three times” and was very frustrated rehashing it, because he felt Ohio State was a much better team then, and for certain was on Thursday.
