Sabo helped Ohio State upset Vanderbilt and advance to the semifinals of the NCAA men’s golf Tournament.
Ohio State beat Vanderbilt, who was ranked No. 2 in the country, in the quarterfinals and will face Auburn in the semifinals on Tuesday night.
Jackson Chandler, Neal Shipley, and Adam Wallin all won their matches to help the Buckeyes advance. Sabo was tied with William Moll before that match didn’t finish since the Buckeyes had already won.
Still, it’s one heck of a highlight from Sabo and he’ll be looking for more in the semifinals.
The Buckeyes will play a Tigers team that entered the tournament as the top team in the country so the competition is about to become even more fierce.
The semifinal match will start at 6 p.m. ET and it’ll be televised by Golf Channel. The winner will take on either Florida State or Georgia Tech.
