The TV picture is coming into view, finally
The Guardians announced their plans to stream their games via MLBTV with no blackouts for $99.99 for the year (season ticket holders get it at a discounted rate):
The team has clarified that they are working through their cable/streaming deals and will have those closer to Opening Day, but it’s nice to have some direction.
They also announced new members of the broadcast team, including Cayleigh Griffin (backup sideline reporter), and a slew of LGFT pre/postgame analysts: Cody Allen, Ben Broussard, Chris Gimenez, Jason Kipnis, Nick Goody, and Austin Jackson.
These folks join Matt Underwood, Rick Manning, Andre Knott and Al Pawloski on coverage. Looks like a fun year ahead! The team did clarify via Twitter that the pregame shows will only be for home games, which is kind of a bummer. Awaiting word on the postgame.
