It was a slow news day, yesterday.
Former Cleveland Guardian, Oscar Gonzalez was invited to spring training with the Padres on a non-roster invite. After his electric performance in 2022, Gonzalez struggled in the 2023 season with Cleveland. He spent most of the 2024 season in AAA for the Yankees system, before electing free agency and signing with the Padres this past November.
Danny Coulombe signed with the Minnesota Twins.
