News and Notes for Saturday, February 22nd, 2025
It is finally here! Game -33/162 is played today. We did it, we made it through the off season.
Lots of fun content came out from the team today. The players got to hold a bunch of puppies and someone decided to give Jhonkensy a mic and that person deserves a raise.
@cleguardians We mic’d up our very own “Big Christmas,” Jhonkensy Noel, for a behind-the-scenes look at Photo Day 2025! #SpringTraining #ForTheLand #MLB #Baseball
Zach Meisel posted some great footage on Twitter of Cantillo, Bibee, Stephen, and Bieber throwing yesterday. Meisel also provided an update on newest pitcher, John Means. Means means to return in August and Shane Bieber is aiming for a midseason return!
The Photo Day pictures are being batch posted for your viewing and “memeing” pleasure featuring a look at the new white jerseys on the players!
Triston McKenzie will be taking the mound at 3:05PM ET today to kick things off for the 2025 Cleveland Guardians. Acting beat reporter Anthony Castrovince spoke with Triston and it is very clear that Triston is ever focused and ever determined going into this season. Jim Rosenhaus spoke to a lot of Guardians on this week’s Guardians Weekly. As a reminder, today’s game can be watched for free on CLEGuardians.tv, but not on cable. They are still working out a deal to broadcast regular season games on cable.
Naturally we will all live and die with each pitch and form hilariously outlandish agendas. Spring Training games are finally here! Its time to have some fun and enjoy some baseball.
