The Cleveland Guardians signed former Houston Astros pitcher Parker Mushinski to a minor-league deal.

Mushinski will be 29 years old in the 2025 season. In 2024 with Houston, he pitched 11.0 innings with a 6.55 ERA and a -0.1 fWAR. Steamer is projecting him to pitch 26.0 innings in 2025 with a 4.14 ERA. Here’s Statcast’s breakdown of his pitches from April, 2024.
Ben Lively finds himself reaching Super 2 status and eligible for arbitration. Lively led the Guardians in 2024 with 13 wins and posted a 3.81 ERA. Per this article from WKYC, it is being predicted that Lively will make the jump from league minimum to $3.2 million in arbitration this off season.
Guardians relief pitcher Allan Hernandez (Low-A) will be representing the organization the Arizona Fall League Fall-Stars Game.
