The Guardians are now at 52 players in Major League camp.
Previously that number was 59, but…
Guardians roster now at 52 players after seven moves today:
-Petey Halpin optioned to Columbus
-Will Dion, Tanner Burns, Mason Hickman, Jack Leftwich, Jake Anchia, Cooper Ingle reassigned to Minor League camp

They also played a game. It was a loss. It was not close. It was not pretty. It was not fast.
But Shohei Ohtani graced the same field as the Guardians, so fans in attendance all had their cameras out.
They got to capture a walk. And a walk. And a walk. And a walk. And 9 more walks.
Yes, that’s right, Guardian pitchers walked 13 batters.
There were really no positives to take away from this game, so we’ll focus on bad things some more: Magnus Ellerts pitched in between Doug Nikhazy’s 2 outings, and walked the first 4 batters he faced.
- A positive that had nothing to do with the game: Fangraphs dreams up Gabby Arias being good.
- Myles Straw might make the Jays.
