Vegas was right again
The Guardians beat the Rockies today 3-1, on an 8th inning 2-run single from Milan Tolentino.
Other than Tolentino, Johnathan Rodriguez stood out going 2 for 2 with a double, hitting the ball 97+ mph plus both times. Jhonkensy Noel and Carlos Santana both got hits (and Big Christmas had a 115 mph lineout), as did the ever reliable Steven Kwan. Angel Martinez went 0 for 2 in his continued bid to be the starting second baseman.
Ben Lively was quietly effective in three innings, Koby Allard went three innings allowing only a solo homer, and Doug Nikhazy looked sharp again, striking out two in two innings. The Guardians play the Cubs tomorrow at 3:05PM EST.
